Religious Education

Religious education registration is now available
Classes for grades K through 5 will again be held Monday nights, 6:15 to 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Good Counsel/The Montessori School. We will begin Mon., October 7 and end Mon., May 5. We’ll have off whenever City schools are off.

Sacramental preparation
For our second graders who have been in the program since last year or second graders attending Catholic school and any baptized older children who didn't receive the sacraments last year, there will be eight additional classes for sacramental preparation. Those will be held Sundays at Good Counsel before the 11 am mass. The schedule has not yet been set but will likely be four Sundays in Jan/Feb for Reconciliation and four Sundays in Mar/Apr for Holy Communion.

St. Mary, Star of the Sea

St. Mary's Legacy

The Archdiocese has decided to seat the CCSB parish at Holy Cross, with an additional worship site at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea is to be closed. The St. Mary's Legacy Preservation Team, a committee of parishioners from across our three campuses, has been meeting regularly over the past several weeks to chronicle the memory of St. Mary's Church and Parish. We invite parishioners and community members past and present to join in this important task. There are several opportunities to participate.

Using our new platform – Flocknote Giving — you will have easy control of your donations; once you enter your payment info, it is retained in the secure system. Please SIGN UP FOR A RECURRING OFFERTORY GIFT. If you already give by EFT, credit card, BillPay, or ACH, we hope you will consider migrating to Flocknote Giving. If so, after signing up, contact sabrina.perdue@archbalt.org to cancel your prior giving method.
