Film Club @ Holy Cross Hall
Film Club in Holy Cross Hall - watching School of Rock
Overly enthusiastic guitarist Dewey Finn (Jack Black) gets thrown out of his bar band and finds himself in desperate need of work. Posing as a substitute music teacher at an elite private elementary school, he exposes his students to the hard rock gods he idolizes and emulates -- much to the consternation of the uptight principal (Joan Cusack). As he gets his privileged and precocious charges in touch with their inner rock 'n' roll animals, he imagines redemption at a local Battle of the Bands. PG-13

Baltimore Station Volunteer Night
Volunteers prepare and serve meals to the residents of Baltimore Station, then join them for the meal and conversation. While it’s certainly helpful to have extra hands to prepare the meal, talking with the residents and hearing their stories is even more valuable, for both you and the residents! The shift is from 5pm-7pm, and volunteers must be fully vaccinated to attend, per Baltimore Station’s policy.
Pilgrimage with Mary
We are meant to be recognized as Christians by living our lives as saints. And Mary, the very Mother of God and ‘Queen of Saints’ epitomizes the humble obedient love of Christ to which we each all are called.
Our Parish will begin a Virtual Pilgrimage with Mary! Each week we will meet at 12:45pm in OLGC Hall to learn more about Our Lady, discussing a title of Mary or an apparition, then followed by fellowship.
A pilgrimage is not a vacation nor a trivial tourist trek; every pilgrimage has a faith objective. But since, our bodies, budgets, and busy schedules, might not easily allow for a long and arduous journey, ours will be a virtual pilgrimage. Just like God, our loving mother meets all of her children wherever we are. Loved and revered around the world, Mary’s appearance and message may vary subtly. But Our Lady always leads us in prayer and repentance to THE one and only one true destination: her son! Jesus, Himself, is the ultimate destination of this and every pilgrimage we undertake.
Please join Deacon Steve and others this Friday, and each Friday afternoon over the next few months, as we journey together!

Buggies to Breakfast
We wanted to try a daytime opportunity, figuring a Friday morning could work for mamas with more flexible schedules and/or for SAHMs. Meet at Cross Street Market. Bring the kids in their buggy (aka stroller -- or wear them, or whatever), or just come by yourself for some great mom talk.
Caregiving Support Group at Holy Cross Hall
Come together and help create a space where people who are caring for others can share their experiences, concerns and emotions with other caregivers who are in a similar situation. It will be gently moderated by a licensed therapist. We will learn coping skills, share frustrations, and be in community with others.
Here we will create more love and understanding for ourselves and those we care for together, then we hold individually.

At the Riverside Park Concert after 5pm Mass - meet in the HC vestibule after Mass to walk there together
We’re bringing a new flavor to Second Sunday Social this summer! If you’re new to the neighborhood, this is the perfect event for you to join and meet members of the community. We’d like to be part of the fun being had at Riverside Park’s “Second Sunday Concert Series.” A member of the Young Adult team will meet after the 5:00 pm Mass at Holy Cross on the second Sunday of each month and will walk to Riverside Park for anyone interested to join. There will be food trucks and music until 8:00 pm. Feel free to bring a chair or blanket to share!
Did you go to an earlier mass? You can also meet us there. The Concert Series is a great place to run into all of your friends and neighbors - learn more about the event here. Our rain plan is to meet at Crossbar if weather cancels the event.
