Welcome to music ministry
We are glad you are interested in learning more about the music we make here, and we hope that we will hear you singing with us in the pews!
If you are interested in helping us build a strong, congregational-led music ministry please volunteer your time and energy! We welcome vocalists or instrumentalists of any age, skill level, and availability.
Volunteer commitment to music ministry can be flexible based on your schedule - you are encouraged to reach out even if you are not able to be present every single weekend - we'd still love to have you and your talent!
Please fill out the form below to voice your interest, and we look forward to being a part of this ministry with you! If you have any other questions, please email Ashley.Powers@archbalt.org.

Our Music Ministry Groups
Ensemble Musicians: Our ensemble musicians are the voice of the community! They support the singing of the congregation with voices and instruments, melody and harmony alike.
No experience needed to join! Ensemble musicians participate in masses weekly.
Cantor Ministry: Our cantors and soloists lead music at our masses and proclaim the psalms in addition to enhancing our ensemble singing with more complex harmony.
Some experience and ability to read music required. Cantors and soloists participate in masses weekly or on a rotating schedule.
SOBO Schola: Our 10-15 voice Schola is a group of vocalists who present choral and small ensemble music on special occasions throughout the year with a variety of genres. Hear the SOBO Schola on feast days as well as Christmas and Easter!
Vocal ensemble experience and ability to read music required.
