Pope Francis has called a global Synod to reflect on how we as a Church are journeying together. Over the next several months, our parish, our city, our diocese, and our world will be coming together to listen to and pray on this theme. At the Catholic Community of South Baltimore, we will be participating in the Synod through an Advent Speaker Series.

In these listening sessions, we will have a communal meal followed by a short talk on a theme related to synodality. Those in attendance will break out into small groups to discuss the speaker's remarks and discuss reflection questions. All are invited to attend these listening sessions, even those with little or no connection to the Church.

7:30 p.m. speaker begins, sharing their thoughts on this topic

Attendees will break into small groups to discuss worldwide Synod, in relation to each topic. Discussion questions will be sent in advance, along with option to submit replies for anyone who cannot attend Questions? Contact the parish office. We look forward to seeing you.
